Harry S. Truman: was the 33rd president of the United States, and he was in the office from 1945 to 1952. He was sworned into office after and unexpecting death of Roosevelt . Harry did not have a middle name, but he wanted to please his grand parents so his parents gave him an S for his middle initial to honor them. Harry only had a highschool education and he was Commander in Chief of the miltary. He was only Vice president for a couple of months becofre he took the role of being the president.
Dwight D. Eisenhower: was the 34th president of the United States. Eisenhower served for 2 terms, from 1953 to 1961. Eisenhower promoted the Eisenhower doctrine. The Eisenhower doctrine allowed middle eastern countries to request for american assistance in military forces or needed help with their economy. Also he ended the korean war in 1953. In 1955 Eisenhower surffered a serious heart attack, which lead to his death in 1969. In 1957 he sent military troops to Little Rock Central-high to help allow blacks to go to school there.
